FDA Approves Neptune’s Krill Products
FDA has approved Montreal, Canada-based Neptune Technologies & Bio­ressources’ Neptune Krill Oil™ (NKO™), Neptune Krill Aquatein™ (NKA™) and Neptune LyO-Krill™ (NLK™) as new dietary supplements for human consumption in the U.S. market. The company submitted pre-market notification for NKO, NKA and NLK as dietary supplements that contain new dietary ingredients. After reviewing the in­formation submitted, FDA classified Neptune’s products as safe for human consumption.
